Eastern Christian School is seeking a Chair of Biblical Studies and Discipleship for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Chair of Biblical Studies & Discipleship is a key academic and spiritual leader within our school, responsible for both high school Bible instruction and the overall vision, curriculum, and instruction of the Bible department. This role also oversees discipleship initiatives, fostering a Christ-centered culture of faith formation through service learning, missions, and small group opportunities across the school.
Responsibilities:
Bible Instruction:
- Teach high school Bible classes, engaging students in deep theological study and practical application of Scripture
- Develop and implement new Bible electives that align with the school’s mission and equip students for lifelong faith
- Utilize best practices in biblical instruction to foster critical thinking, spiritual growth, and biblical literacy
Leadership of the Bible Department:
- Oversee the curriculum and instructional strategies of the Bible department, ensuring a cohesive and biblically sound program across all grade levels
- Support and mentor Bible faculty in their instructional effectiveness and spiritual leadership
- Stay current on trends in Christian education and theological studies to lead a dynamic and relevant Bible program
Discipleship:
- Lead and coordinate service learning opportunities, Faith-in-Action (FIA) programs, and mission trips, cultivating a heart for service and global engagement among students
- Develop and oversee small group discipleship opportunities for students, fostering deeper relationships with Christ and one another
- Partner with faculty, chapel coordinators, and student life leaders to integrate discipleship initiatives into the broader spiritual life of the school
- Seek out additional opportunities to enhance the spiritual life of the school community
Qualifications:
Professionally:
- A master’s degree in Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian Education, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience teaching
- Leadership experience in Christian education, ministry, or discipleship programming

Eastern Christian Elementary School is seeking a Paraprofessional for the 2025 -2026 school year.
The Paraprofessional assists the classroom teacher(s) with the instruction and assessment of students as well as additional assigned and clerical duties.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist teacher(s) with instruction in the classroom (i.e. work with small groups or individuals while teacher instructs and manages the class).
Instruct students outside of the classroom (i.e. hallway, conference room) as directed by the teacher(s). Instruction may include but is not limited to reteaching a concept, providing enrichment for advanced students, assessing students.
Assist teachers with safety precautions including fire drills, evacuation drills and lockdown drills.
Supervise students on the playground during recess: Circulate around assigned playground area to observe all students and ensure that students are safe and following playground rules. Allow for students to resolve conflicts. Step in as needed when conflicts escalate.Determine the need for students to visit the nurse during recess.

After School Director

Eastern Christian Elementary School is seeking an After School Director for the 2025-2026 school year. The After School Director supervises after school activities and staff. This position is located on the Eastern Christian Elementary School campus. The hours and schedule for this position is 3:00pm – 6:00pm, three days a week.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide daily supervision of the before school care and staff before school care programs
Oversee the daily schedule including student sign in and activities
Ensure that all safety standards are followed.
Ensures that all staff and children are respectful of school property and school rules are followed.
Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, absences and emergency information on each child.
